Experienced RV Service Advisor
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced, high-achieving Service Advisor. The ideal candidate will have experience as a Service Advisor in an RV dealership currently. Candidate must be capable of handling the demand of a very busy Service Department while maintaining the level of quality our customers have come to expect. Must have the ability to present value added maintenance program, service specials, and other recommendations offered by our company. Also responsible for efficiently maintaining the service hours available for service department only. Service writer overseas progress made my service techs on repairs from time to time to assure efficient workflow and productivity.
Responsibilities
- Meet and confer with customers.
- Complete Service Orders (ROs)
- Dispatch work to technicians.
- Perform time and cost estimates for repair.
- Complete and Close Work Order once repairs have been completed.
- Collect Payment from Customers
- Warranty Claims and Liaison between customer and factory if unit is still under warranty.
Qualifications
- Willingness to interact with customers in an outdoor setting at time of drop off.
- High level customer service skills are mandatory to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Above average follow-up skills.
- Skilled trade experience in plumbing, HVAC, electrical or carpentry is a plus.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Previous RV Service Advisor experience
- Proven and verifiable track record of success in sales and customer satisfaction
- General knowledge of RVs
- Must be dependable, friendly, enthusiastic, and self-motivated.
- Highly organized with superior time management and prioritization skills
- Valid Driver’s License with an insurable driving record
- Computer proficient
